It's a very exact account of what's on my desk right now (except the computer screen, 'cause I'm not that masochistic), with one eye closed and trying very hard not to move my head. It's cool that images curve if you do that XD which is obvious, looking at camera lenses, but strange to actually see in your own vision. Anyway... I'd be really amused if someone could identify the CD!

Done in oC, about three hours. Painful, but quick.

Amazing work. I love the originallity and straight realism of this. Your attention to detail is insane. I know it's about 4 years since you posted this, but I recognized the cd as the castaways and cutouts right away. I've been listening to the decemberists since 2003, and I've gotta say: good fucking band. You have good taste.

Lol, interesting little bit of trivia for you. I was born with a condition that affected the muscles in my eye. I had an operation when i was very young to get it fixed, but the everlasting side effect was that i can never see out of more than one eye at a time. So this is how I see all the time ^^ Except it doesn't curve like that, because i have no depth perception :P

Nonetheless, it's still a very cool concept. I love the sketchy look it has ^_^

wow. that is something i've never seen anyone do before. absolutely amazing. i'd probably get really annoyed halfway through the process of this... that perspective is just so cool. bah, everything is just incredible!

oh, and i know what the cd is. castaways and cutouts by the decemberists. :)

Damn. I'm trying to sit here and ee things in periphoral vision and it's all so dark and blurry O.o You're good. I love the colors in this piece, too ^^
