I really enjoy this style of highlighted line work. You did it it very well, handling light and shadow within the style. This looks like it was created in Illustrator or Inkwell. It is certainly a perfect candidate for vector art, and could be converted with some effort. Vector art has the advantage in the advertising word of being able to scale it from tiny to billboard size, and not close and of the sharp edge details.
I hope you don't mind, but this is a background I use occasionally on my mp3 player. It's so succulent and those thick lines are so tasty and the colors are rich. The river looks almost like you could pet it. It's the sort of the absurdist yet very vivid art that I enjoy.
I wonder if you've ever read Riceboy, because I think you'd enjoy it.
I worship you!!! Seriously this is awesome, the stone head, the mystic bird imagery, the crazy yurt dwelling mask people... it's all so good. I desire more!!!!
Certainly feels calming. Graet choice of colours, and I love the scratched-away look of the lines, especially on the water. Very enchanting, with a weird sort of edge.
