So... it's been a momentous and potentially life-altering summer. I went to Turkey for three weeks to get some art history credits, and after that I took myself to the UK. Worked at a backpacking hostel in north England for a month, then moved to an idyllic organic holiday cottage business in Wales and learned about compost and fruit. I'm now back in England, but on the south coast this time, preparing to attend the Arts Institute at Bournemouth for one term. And then just before Christmas I will finally go home.
Traveling alone is not really hard. It has caused me many long moments of terror, awkwardness, and loneliness, but I've been learning a lot about just dealing with what happens. I recommend this.
Along the way I've acquired all these overly-ambitious project ideas... mainly involving a city-state called the Abecedarium, where The Eye sees all and everybody wears masks. I just need TIME!
